Tony Hall | Wedding Photographer
Technical ability means nothing if you aren’t able to make a connection with the people you are shooting; for Tony Hall, weddings are about the people you love: your family, your friends, the best men, the maids of honour, the bridesmaids, the children, the mums and dads, and you. Tony is former fashion photographer and an experienced wedding photographer based in The Peak District of Derbyshire. He has worked in many of the most beautiful wedding venues in Derbyshire and has shot weddings in Sheffield and Yorkshire wedding venues. He is also happy to travel further.
Why do you want to work with us?
Being a part of what should be the happiest day of a couple’s life – whatever their sexuality – is both an honour and a privilege and one I take very seriously.
What is your approach to weddings?
I have worked in the past as a fashion photographer and a stills photographer for ITV and these skills set me apart from other wedding photographers. People skills are just as important as technical ability, I can offer both.
What do you love about what you do?
The feedback I get afterwards is great, it is wonderful to know that it was appreciated that I do not direct people around against their will, keep a discreet distance but never miss a photo opportunity. Work from a brief from my clients and remember always it is their day not mine.
What’s your favourite wedding song?
Roberta Flack – The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
Tony will travel within a reasonable distance of his base in Derbyshire free of charge; he charges £0.45 per mile for further distances, and for weddings that are really far from his home, he will need his accommodation costs covered.
Regions covered: Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Peak District and UK wide.
