Shotgun Weddings | Wedding Photographer
Emma Joanne from Shotgun Weddings will travel to the ends of the earth for the right couple! And that’s because she really loves what she does. A passionate storyteller, Emma Joanne loves the little details and aims to build a highly unique set of images, which starts from getting to know you as a couple, your likes and dislikes, and what you hope to achieve from the wedding photography of your day.
Why do you want to work with us?
Living and working in Brighton I am a Gay Weddings photography specialist. I LOVE gay weddings because they don’t always follow convention and tend to be more relaxed and fun than opposite-sex weddings.
What is your approach to weddings?
I am experienced at working with all types of light and use it to be at my most creative including off-camera flash, light painting, fireworks and sparklers if necessary. Anything to ensure the party goes off with a bang and my couples get the BEST images they can imagine.
What do you love about what you do?
It is such an honour to be given the responsibility to capture someone’s wedding day (this “I do” take seriously – pun intended!). Besides that, I am unique in my image making and always strive to push my photography further with new techniques, composition and ways of looking at things. Like me, my images are not conventional and I love it when my clients book me for my style and work. It means a lot!
What’s your favourite wedding song?
That’s tough because I LOVE my music.. if I had to choose it would be Chaka Khan Ain’t Nobody.
I work across the UK and internationally and cover anywhere within a 30 miles radius of Brighton free of charge otherwise I charge 0.30 pence per mile elsewhere.
Regions covered: Hampshire, Sussex and across the UK
